Prevention: fewer sharps injuries

For manufacturers: why excellent devices don't reach Slovenian hospitals
Your product is CE-marked, clinically proven and competitively priced. You win tenders elsewhere in Europe. In Slovenia, the contract goes to someone else. Again. It’s rarely the product. It’s everything around it:
The tender is in Slovenian
Published on a national portal your export team doesn’t watch, often below the EU threshold, so it never shows up on TED.
The deadline has already passed
By the time the tender reaches you, there’s no time left for documents, translations and samples.
Specifications don’t tell the whole story
Product groups are bundled and requirements often lean towards the incumbent. Without clinical experience, you can’t tell where you really have a chance.
Nobody local is on your side

Framework agreements in Slovenian hospitals often run around 36 months. One missed tender can lock you out of a hospital for a long time.

Questions we’re often asked
Are you a distributor or a service provider?
Both. We are a JAZMP-registered importer and distributor and sell products under distribution agreements. For manufacturers still testing the Slovenian market, we also offer public tender services, with an authorisation for each tender.
Do you also work for our competitors?
We never bid for two manufacturers in the same product group of a tender. If a product group fits more than one client, it goes to whoever confirms the bid order first.
Do you talk to the hospital during a tender?
No, and nobody should. During an open procedure, all questions go through the official portal. We prepare those questions for you.

What do your services cost?
The EUDAMED check is free. We send prices for tender monitoring and bid preparation together with our manufacturer offer. Distribution terms are agreed individually.
A database can find a tender. Experience makes sure the bid is complete.
